Construction work of three "Zweepmasten" consisting of ground pillars and wings.

Commissioned by Rijkswaterstaat (Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management), Hofman Sliedrecht BV. built three "Zweepmasten". This is a unique model cause of the 10 meters span using only one pillar. The used metal profiles consist of composed 100% welded plate fields. Cause of high tension stress some of the welds are annealed. This project is worthed a compliment for the welders of Hofman and De Klerk Werkendam. Hundreds of meters welding were achieved without quality rejection of a single millimeter!! (Of course because of the well designed production method).
