Qualification of several welding procedures and all welders in Aluminium AW5083, AW6082 & AW5059 (high strength Aluminium)

In the luxury yacht building, everything is focused on the maximum achievable quality. The casco of the mega yachts which are built by firm Heesen Yachts located in Oss is almost entirely made out of aluminum. Only the best quality is enough, that is why LAB Verduyn BV. received the task to map all the welding method qualifications which are required and to qualify the welders with these qualifications. The certification has been executed and approved under control of the Amercian Buro of Shipping (ABS).
