Welding of LeKa® grout-injection piles Galecopperbrug
www.kandtbv.nlKandt BV realized the reinforcement of the foundation of the Galecopperbrug in cooperation with van Hattem and Blankevoort. For this, 270 LeKa® grout injection piles were installed with lengths ranging from 14 up to 33 meter. 60 of these piles were drilled underneath the bridge deck, and because of the limited height these piles were separated in 5 parts and were welded one for one, and drilled in the ground. LAB Verduyn BV. has prepared the welding plans for this project and has qualified the welding procedures and welders.
