Preparing procedures qualifications project IHC fabrication.

The De Klerk company managed to acquire a part of a
large IHC contract. The assignment consists of the
assembly and welding of plate fields Grade EH-36
material by means of flux-cored arc welding FCAW(M)      Above: Test part welded with a combination of FCAW & SAW

project under DetNorske Veritas a large number of
qualifications needed to be welded according to the
DNV OS-C401 specification. I was assigned by De Klerk
to carry out the entire assistance­ of the process 
and after positive results a start with the welding
activities  was made immediately.
