At the Sepers group in Dreumel, The Netherlands, the building of a complete aluminum "high speed multi-purpose wind farm vessel" for Turbine transfers ltd is commissioned. The transition from steel to aluminum was made quickly and LAB Verduyn BV. has been assigned to give guidance to all welding procedures and welders qualified in accordance with DNV Rules for Ships.
