Continuing with the qualifying of welding procedures and welders in Qatar.

Nakilat Damen Shipyard,Port of Ras Laffan in Qatar, www.damen.nl

Following the earlier visit to Qatar in May this year, we are back again in October to Nakilat Damen Shipyard in Ras Laffan. This time we have qualified 14 welders (all from India) and 26 welding procedures. The testcoupons are performed under supervision of Lloyd `s register Qatar. The welded test plates will be tested at the Exova laboraty in Doha, and after an acceptable result, the construction of the first sections will be started.
